Richnew41Anyone have an opinion on what Trans filter to buy??? Went onto Rock Auto to order and they have 9 options/companies selling the filter... Or should i just order an OEM from Mopar site??
ALLEY CATMopar or AC DELCO filter should be fine......
TomcalWIX makes these for many of the car companies(OEM).

padrooI went to Advance Auto and bought this one and used the supplied gasket and had no leaks so far.

I was impressed with the heavy gauge steel transmission pan that comes on the Prowler. There was no dimpling at the bolt holes like some others I have seen.

Question please, I noticed the pan is torqued down extremely tight 165lbs... Is that correct? If so do you still torque to that spec when using a gasket???

I would have to check but more like inch pounds.

17 foot pounds on page 21-107 of the 1999 manual.
Fluid filter screws 45 inch pounds.
